Some of the summer

 The summer has really gotten away from us. Mama has done a horrible job with our blog. We still have three weeks left already there are hundreds of pictures that need to be shown. Oh well, they will be put online when she get's around to it. Instead here are a few from early July.

 As you can see the summer has not been all fun and games. There has been time out. My time out spot is Abby's sunning spot, so when I end up there, she ends up leaving... we try to coexist with one another, but I am just to much for her.

 I am learning how to be an effective thrower. The rules don't make sense to me yet, throw only hard objects outside, soft objects inside, hit targets outside, don't hit targets inside....
I'm just looking for a little consistency here!

 This picture is of my fairy godmother is getting ready to have a baby! Laura and Johnathon let us come for the weekend to their mountain house to help. Dad did a ton this weekend, and mom got her work out watching over me.

Oh and Laura did have her baby, it was a girl just like me!

 While everyone else was busy moving furniture, I decided to move Benji, because lets face it, he was going anywhere fast.

 Then Johnathon decided to move me!

 I must admit, he is pretty cool. Anyone who can keep a full Beard all summer in Mountains of North Carolina without having air conditioning is one fool I don't want to mess with.

  Boo has been showing me how to play on the IPAD, I'm not as good as my cousins Simon and Finn, but I'm getting there. 

As for this last picture, there is a story. When my mommy was little, during bath time her daddy (papa) made her in to a punk rocker. She was so excited each time that she asked to be made into a gram cracker.  So tonight, mama made me into a gram cracker.

Vermont

 Lots of our time in Vermont was spent down by the creek. The weather was crazy hot, so we took advantage of the water.

 Cyprus is sitting in her Great Aunt Martha's rocking chair.

Cyprus and Ophelia became best friends quickly. However their visits had to be supervised. 

A trip to Vermont would not be complete without Ben & Jerry's ice cream!

Half way through June

June has been quite an eventful time, mama finished up school, I stopped going regularly to daycare, we have had visitors and dad had a day yesterday. Quite amazing!

 I really am the best helper EVER

Uncle David came to play with me. He spent the night and I'm pretty sure I wore him slap out! Of course I did it with a smile. 

Dad's day was yesterday. He wanted to go see the ducks and play on the playground. My kind of day!

As an independent little girl I wanted to feed the ducks on my own. I am really good at breaking up rice cakes for them to eat. Of course I like the snack also. 

What would be a day at the park without the most fun slide EVER!  I even went down it on my own even though there is no evidence to back that statement up.

Mama and I are going to Vermont tomorrow to see Papa, GrAnna & Naomi. We should have some fun pictures from that adventure.

MOM, why have you neglected the blog? Dad and I know people are checking up on it! What are you thinking?

Boo and I share a snack at six in the morning. There is nothing like a yogurt party with your Boo before you go to school.

Dad and I checked out the ducks near the park. There were tons of them, and they were all swimming and playing with each other.

No Pants McGee

Check out my new kitchen that Boo & Pops bought  me at the church yard sale! This is my all time favorite toy! I know where everything goes, and I give pops a run for his money when it comes to dirty dishes. 

The other night it rained and rained. Mama and I stood on the porch to watch. I was told I needed a shirt and shoes, but once again, no pants....

Always an Adventure

I am learning how to read, in fact I tell a pretty good story. Have you ever read the story about Samson and Delilah? His hair needed too be cut, it was to long, she was just keeping him in style, that's all.....

 

 Two weekends ago our friend Eric took mommy, daddy, myself and our friend Slade on a fun boat ride! We all tried tubing, but I liked driving the boat more.

 We had an amazing time!

As you can see my parents have trouble keeping up with all  my shenanigans, but they are doing a pretty good job.
