One month since eviction day

So I was told that my cousin Simon has decided to become a Jedi Knight, I am hoping that with his approval I will be able to join him in saving the Galaxy. After a month of life I would like to prove my abilities. Amazing speed

Training is hard work. I would be a good Jedi, as long as I still get to snuggle with my daddy.

Adjusting

Cyprus and I have almost been in Minnesota for a week. What a crazy wonderful week it has been! We have had to adjust to the Minnesota way of living. The Norwegian people are very quiet. The three of us took an adventure to Target in Rochester, it was the quietest Target I have ever been to. As we were going down isles I found myself whispering. Cyprus on the other hand wanted everyone to know that she was playing with her daddy. Each day Cyprus gets all bundled up and we walk to Barr Lodge where Josh works. While J and I eat lunch, each staff member takes turns holder her.

Cyprus has been enjoying her snuggle time, I think she has been snuggled in every room in the house. Dance Parties in the kitchen are key when meals are being made.

Her mama has been keeping her bundled up at almost all times, poor girl hasn't seen her hands in two days. (This is really Abby's bouncy seat, that she is "letting" Cyprus use)

Abby has been doing a very good job adjusting, I think once she realized that Cyprus has to sleep in a cage she was fine with the new addition. We have had a couple of nights where we have had trouble calming C, however Abby is the first to try and get to her. As soon as Cyprus starts crying Abby is giving her kisses, we are still teaching Abby to stay away from eyes, and mouths. Ears are fine if she does not dig to deep.

And of course the swing of all swings! I personally would like an adult size swing like this.

What a busy life

Cyprus traveled to Black Mountain at 11 days old to see her second cousin Ellie. However C decided not to wake up to meet her. However Ellie was interested in the little baby.
As you can see Cyprus was the center of attention at Grandmas house.
Aunt Hannah made this amazing dress!

Dance party with pops ended successfully
Yesterday Cyprus and I arrived in Minnesota for three weeks with dad! Abby was pretty excited to see me. She was fine with C and gave her tons of kisses, but was not okay when the camera came out.

Cyprus had the pleasure of enjoying the bouncy seat for the first time.

This morning Josh and Cyprus slept in. Doesn't C look like a Hippie Moon Shiner in that hat?

15 days and counting

We have fifteen days until the due date and eleven more days until Josh gets back from Minnesota. Baby girl and I have talked numerous times and all she has to do is wait eleven days. At the moment that is not a problem considering that she has not found an opening yet.
However until we get to meet our little baby girl, here is another sweetie to look at. Ellie is cousin Sarie's daughter. Beth and I went to Black mountain to visit some family over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend.

Beth enjoyed her time with Ellie while Sarie studied and I took a nap.
Today told me I was a little mama, but I think that title really goes to Sarie

Last week I had three baby showers in a row. It was a crazy pink extravaganza! I have not gotten pictures of the first two, but St. James really out did themselves with presents. We are truly blessed!

At the moment Josh is crazy busy in the cold north accomplishing great things and I have been put on bed rest for half days to try and lower my blood pressure. I only have 10 more school days, but the ladies at work are already taking bets on when I will be out of commission. Hopefully not sooner than later.
