The Excitement of the Holidays

I'm pretty much a standing machine now a days!

Hey, stick around for more... you know it's coming!

Christmas Is Only Days Away

I have been quite busy in the past month. You can't tell from these pictures but I can stand almost all on my own.
I have been hearing about this Christmas thing, so I have been practicing with Boo's lunchbox.

I found this circle thing that tastes good. Normally when I eat these this outside stuff is not on it... Oh well.
I know what these are, banana's are my very favorite food in the world!

Mama has gone far enough

We do not have time to stop for a photo opportunity, our tigers are in deep trouble! Dabo would not be impressed by our lack of enthusiasm during the game.

So my mama is driving me absolutely crazy! She keeps putting this same dress on me to get the "perfect" picture. I don't think she understands how much I don't want to do this. We had to travel all over the yard to get pictures taken. I must admit that those hard children in the yard really don't have very much personality.

Hey man, do you get your picture taken often? I personally don't like it, especially when I have to wear a dress. Does your mama make you dress up?

Listen buddy, keep doing your thing. I'll come back for you!

I am done! D-O-N-E! Why must the pictures continue!

I'll hide behind this nice lady statue. Maybe the camera won't find me..... Dang it!

Well you are a sweet boy.
Ok mama, if I smile nicely can I get out of this dress?

Early November

As you can see I am getting into everything! Here are a few pictures to sum up my past couple of weeks. Pictures are becoming more scarce since I don' t have time to pose anymore. There are to many things to see and do.

When you have to use your hands to move around, the mouth is the next best option.
And I'm off
Mama had to put my Nuke in so I wouldn't eat the leaves. She ruins all the fun!
It just looks like I have been left, but don't worry someone had to have taken the photo.
Daddy gets home late but still wants to play in the yard with me. Even if it is dark I can still show him my standing up trick.
After the dry run with the duck bathtub mama decided it was not the smarted decision to add water. Slippery babies are harder to catch.
Where to now Mr. Duck?

The Mountains

Check out how big I am.
I am getting strong
I went to Black Mountain on Saturday to visit some wonderful people. Aunt Sarie and I had a good time playing.
However, Ellie was my favorite! She shared her toys with me.
On Sunday, daddy and mama took me to the mountains. We saw all of the pretty leaves and took a hike up Mt. Mitchell.
You win again mountains.

October

These days I am all smiles! I have learned how to crawl on my hands and knees. Since I am now on the move all the time mama and daddy have to really start baby proofing the house. My favorite thing to chase is Abby. She keeps retreating to higher ground, but one day I will be able to climb.

My grammy, papa and Emmett came to visit me. Grammy loved on me and gave me my bottle. They brought books for mama to read to me and for me to eat. While I napped they took mama and daddy out to lunch.

We also went to the fair. Daddy showed me all of the animals. I got to pet a cow, this huge camel was more interested in daddy then me, but I was more interested in it's baby. When we went through the petting zoo an outrage tried to eat daddies backpack strap, mama had to hold on to me so I wouldn't fall out. What an exciting fair experience.

I have learned how to eat cheerios. I am pretty good about getting snacks to my face, but sometime they don't make it to my mouth and get stuck on my chin. When this happens I can't even get them with my tong.

Maybe next time it wont take mama a month to update the blog, but I say this so often it has started to sound redundant.

September

What a busy weekend, I went to the Apple Festival on Saturday. It was really cold! I saw a million people walking around Lincolnton, but my favorite was Smokey.

Over the past couple of weeks I have learned many different skills. My favorite however are sitting up, which I learned while visiting my Naomi & Chandler. Granna and Papa were there as well over Labor day. I have also discovered my tongue. This thing is AWESOME!

That's all folks

My First August

My cousins came to see me in August. They flew all the way from Washington State just to play. We had a blast. Simon likes to talk to me, but Fin loves to hug and kiss me!
We played many games. Those boys are silly!
I had a great time playing. Next time I see them I will be able to run after them, then they really will be in trouble.
Daddy and Mama thought that now that I am six months I can go camping. I was pretty impressed by all the sounds, lights and outdoors. We took Uncle Eric and Uncle Slade with us.
Mama and I slept in the car. I tricked them into thinking I would be fine sleeping through the night, boy did I have them going...
The next morning we had breakfast and packed up.
As you can see we all survived my first camping trip. Uncle Eric and Uncle Slade say I am welcome back anytime.

Vermont

I absolutely LOVE Vermont! I had the best time with my Papa, Granna, and Naomi. We had ten wonderful days!
Many of my naps were with papa. However, mama did teach me how to take naps on my own.
There is so much to discover, this old man is stuck on the tree! I bet his family is worried about him. Poor guy.
Granna took me around to all of the flower beds and let me pick a handful of flowers. I personally like lilies, but this grass stuff is pretty neat as well.

Silly Naomi, she was constantly trying to eat my hands. I however, got the last laugh with my incredible drooling ability!
I now need constant supervision. Mama Never saw this one coming.
I have to admit, I have quite a following. And everyone is so interesting.
