Even though it was mama's day last Sunday I still got my picture taken.
Hey without me there would be no need to celebrate.
At night I like to play on Boo & Pops' bed.
I like it when Shelby hears thunder, because then I get to play on her.
Mama never saw it coming!
I might look a little concerned, but really it was my first time in my new seat.
So this is what sitting feels like.

Beautiful May

Over the past two weeks I have fully experienced tummy time, thanks to my babysitter Shannon. I am now on a mission to get that bear! He just looks so nice.
Hello Mr. Bear! Are you going to be my new friend?
There is question about whether or not I am getting teeth. All I know is that I love sucking and chewing on mama's thumb.
I have also learned that the refrigerator is amazing, so many different colors. I don't understand why these people open up the fridge to look at all the colors, it's cold in there. The outside is just as pretty.
I love my new Noah's Arc book I got for Easter, but I do have questions. Why does only one bunny brings books? What about the other one? And what about all the other animals? What holiday do they bring me toys?
I do have one more important thing to say to everyone reading this.
I am a little late, but
Happy Mother's day!

What a busy week

This past week has been super busy. I had fun every single day.

Last Sunday I was saved by Grace, however I am still trying to figure out who Grace is and why she saved me. Daddy said he would explain it to me when I get a little older.

If he forgets I know that my fairy Godmother and Godfather will explain.

On Monday I went and met my Gammy and Pop Pop. They gave me a really cute bank to put all of my coins in. All I have to do now is figure out what coins are and how to pick them up.

Tuesday Morning Papa and Granna watched me while daddy and mama went on a date. They had lunch and went to the movies. Papa & Granna treated me like a princess.

Wednesday the three of us headed to Cherryville to visit Mike, Heather & all of there children. One day when I get big I will get to play with lizards, barbies, the wii and eat brownies. I can't wait!
Thursday daddy & mama took me to dinner with Steven and Bonnie. While everyone ate Mexican I got passed around to be loved on.
Friday Uncle David and Zippy (grandma Jane) came all the way from Lexington to meet me. Once again I won them over with my smiles and talking. No one can resist my ability to talk.

Mama and I went for a walk in the rain after our company left and everyone else took naps, however I got to take a nap as well, it was just outside.

Saturday Easter came! The bunny told daddy that he had a ton of kids he had to see so I got my basket dropped off early. Who can look at a camera during a time like this?

Sunday morning I got bundled up to go to sunrise service at 6:30. It was great! My two favorite things: Daddy & Outside. Pops wasn't that bad either, he sang and talked real loud.

After worship the people with teeth had breakfast. I decided it would be a good time to get in a nap since this part of church did not pertain to me.

Life as we know it

Mama has done a horrible job keeping up this blog! There has been so many exciting things that have happened in my life and everyone is missing it! I am twice my age since the last entry. Even Pops is upset!
I have started making eye contact & smiling, however I still love ceiling fans the most!

Mama and I got back from Minnesota after three wonderful weeks with daddy. Since we have been back we have tried to catch up with friends. I have changed so much in such a few short weeks.

Once we got back mom went back to work. Boo & Pops took a couple of days with me and then Naomi came for two weeks to enjoy my presence. We had so much fun! She gave me my pirate name, Madam V.
During our visit with friends in Cherryville a tornado came by, while mama was worrying about her car in the hail storm I found the basement quite boring and took a nap.
When mama does come home from work I won't let her go. She has learned how to do many things with only one hand.
I won't be able to stand it if it takes another month for mama to show pictures of me! Oh the agony!

One month since eviction day

So I was told that my cousin Simon has decided to become a Jedi Knight, I am hoping that with his approval I will be able to join him in saving the Galaxy. After a month of life I would like to prove my abilities. Amazing speed

The ability to confuse

focus

fearless

master of disguise

Training is hard work. I would be a good Jedi, as long as I still get to snuggle with my daddy.

Adjusting

Cyprus and I have almost been in Minnesota for a week. What a crazy wonderful week it has been! We have had to adjust to the Minnesota way of living. The Norwegian people are very quiet. The three of us took an adventure to Target in Rochester, it was the quietest Target I have ever been to. As we were going down isles I found myself whispering. Cyprus on the other hand wanted everyone to know that she was playing with her daddy. Each day Cyprus gets all bundled up and we walk to Barr Lodge where Josh works. While J and I eat lunch, each staff member takes turns holder her.

Cyprus has been enjoying her snuggle time, I think she has been snuggled in every room in the house. Dance Parties in the kitchen are key when meals are being made.

Her mama has been keeping her bundled up at almost all times, poor girl hasn't seen her hands in two days. (This is really Abby's bouncy seat, that she is "letting" Cyprus use)

Abby has been doing a very good job adjusting, I think once she realized that Cyprus has to sleep in a cage she was fine with the new addition. We have had a couple of nights where we have had trouble calming C, however Abby is the first to try and get to her. As soon as Cyprus starts crying Abby is giving her kisses, we are still teaching Abby to stay away from eyes, and mouths. Ears are fine if she does not dig to deep.

And of course the swing of all swings! I personally would like an adult size swing like this.

What a busy life

Cyprus traveled to Black Mountain at 11 days old to see her second cousin Ellie. However C decided not to wake up to meet her. However Ellie was interested in the little baby.
As you can see Cyprus was the center of attention at Grandmas house.
Aunt Hannah made this amazing dress!

Chillin with Papa

Grammy couldn't take his eyes off of the sleeping babe

Dance party with pops ended successfully
Yesterday Cyprus and I arrived in Minnesota for three weeks with dad! Abby was pretty excited to see me. She was fine with C and gave her tons of kisses, but was not okay when the camera came out.

Cyprus had the pleasure of enjoying the bouncy seat for the first time.

This morning Josh and Cyprus slept in. Doesn't C look like a Hippie Moon Shiner in that hat?
